Opening the group
In the Telegram menu choose New Group, add at least one contact, give it a clear name and short description, and a photo if you like. You can remove the first members later.
Public or private
A public group is searchable and gets a permanent link; a private group opens by invite only. Choose by your goal — an open community or a closed circle.
Inviting and moderating
Invite members through an invite link or from your contacts. Appoint trusted admins, set rules and pin them, and use moderation bots against spam in larger groups.
Growing
Post conversation starters, share the link on other networks, and list the group in a directory like this one so new people can find you.
